Privacy Policy
Effective 28 August 2026
TickTurn, operated by CommonGray, collects only what it needs to run the service.
This is a translation provided for convenience. If the two versions differ, the Korean version governs.
1. What we collect, and how
| When you sign in | Name (or nickname), email address and the provider’s member ID — only the items you consented to. |
|---|---|
| While you use the service | Saved symbols, recently viewed symbols, access logs and IP address (generated automatically). |
| Usage statistics | The page you opened, device type (phone, desktop, tablet), operating system, browser, the domain you arrived from, country, interface language, the symbol codes you analysed, and search terms that returned no results. To tell repeat visits apart we store a ten-character string derived irreversibly from your IP address and browser together with a value that changes every day; the IP address itself is never stored, and because the daily value changes, the same person cannot be followed across days. Search terms that did return results are not stored verbatim. |
| When you switch on morning alerts | The email address to send them to. If you do not set one, we use the address from your sign-in. Switching alerts off removes the address from the send list. |
| When you write to us | Name (optional), a reply address and your message. Used only to answer you, then deleted. |
2. Why we use it
- Identifying you and keeping you signed in
- Emailing the morning analysis of your saved symbols (only if you switched it on)
- Preventing abuse and answering enquiries
- Statistical analysis to improve the service (in a form that cannot identify anyone)
We do not use what we collect for any other purpose, and we do not sell it for advertising.
3. How long we keep it
- When you close your account, we delete it without delay.
- Enquiries and reply addresses are deleted once the answer is done.
- The following are kept for the period required by law: records of consumer complaints and dispute handling for 3 years (Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce), and access logs for 3 months (Protection of Communications Secrets Act).
4. Sharing with third parties
We do not provide members’ personal data to third parties, except where an investigative authority requires it through a lawful procedure.
5. Processors
| Vercel | Hosting and operation of the service |
|---|---|
| Upstash | Storing accounts, watchlists and alert settings |
| Resend | Sending morning alerts and replies to enquiries |
| Visit analytics (Google Analytics 4). Not used for advertising; IP addresses are sent anonymised. |
Transfer abroad
The four processors above are companies headquartered outside Korea. You may decline this transfer, in which case the features that depend on it (staying signed in, email alerts) cannot be provided.
| Recipients | Vercel Inc. (USA) · Resend, Inc. (USA) · Upstash, Inc. (USA) · Google LLC (USA) |
|---|---|
| Country, timing and method | The United States, transmitted over the network at the time you use the service. Storage and execution take place in Korea: the service runs in Vercel’s Seoul (icn1) region, and account and watchlist data is stored in Upstash’s Korean region. Because these are US companies that may access the data for maintenance, we disclose it as a transfer abroad. |
| Items transferred | Vercel — access logs and IP address. Resend — recipient email address and message body. Upstash — account identifier, email address, saved symbols and alert settings. Google — the page you opened, device and browser details, an anonymised IP address and a cookie identifier. |
| Purpose and retention | Hosting, email delivery and storage. Deleted without delay when you close your account or we end the arrangement. |
| Contacts | Vercel privacy@vercel.com · Resend support@resend.com · Upstash support@upstash.com · Google privacy-help@google.com |
6. Your rights
You may at any time access, correct or delete your personal data, or ask us to stop processing it. Your watchlist and morning alerts can be cleared or switched off on the account screen; to delete the account itself, write to the address below (or use ‘Privacy’ on the contact page) and we will act without delay. Deleting the account also removes your watchlist and your entry on the alert list, and cannot be undone.
7. Cookies
We use one cookie to keep you signed in. It is set so page scripts cannot read it, and it is not used for advertising. You can block cookies in your browser, but then the sign-in will not persist.
Separately, Google Analytics sets cookies (names beginning with _ga) to count returning visitors. They are not used to serve ads or to follow you across other sites. You can refuse them through your browser settings or Google’s opt-out tool; refusing does not limit your use of the service in any way.
